Police Arrest Weehawken Man for Distribution of Explicit Images of Minors

Weehawken

State Police detectives have arrested a Weehawken man and recovered an electronic storage device that contained hundreds of images and videos depicting Explicit Images of Minors.

On January 23, members New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigations Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force of the New Jersey State Police, Division of Criminal Justice, and Weehawken Police Department executed a search warrant for the suspect’s residence based on a tip called in to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline.

Detectives searched the home of Michael Prinzo, 24, of Weehawken, and discovered a USB storage device hidden in a container designed to appear like an ordinary toiletry product. A forensic examination of the device revealed hundreds of illicit images and videos.

Michael Prinzo was arrested and charged with distribution and possession of Explicit Images of Minors and was lodged at the Hudson County jail in lieu of $100,000 full bail.
