Police released an image of a suspected bank robber on the bicycle he's accused of using to flee from a bank following Sunday’s robbery.
According to authorities, on Apr. 29th at approximately 11:15 a.m., Point Pleasant Police Officers responded to the TD Bank, located at 3301 Bridge Avenue, for a report of a bank robbery.
Upon arrival, bank employees told police that an un-masked suspect entered the bank, displayed a note, and demanded money.
Police described the suspect as a white male, late 20’s to early 30’s, approx. 5 feet 8 inches tall, short blond hair and a thin build. The suspect has a tattoo on the left side of his neck, police added.
According to authorities, no weapon was displayed.
The bank employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
The suspect was last seen fleeing on Bridge Avenue with the currency. The bicycle used by the suspect was located in a wooded area west of the bank.
The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE 4:13 p.m.: Authorities have identified the wanted suspect as David D. Mitchell, 31, of Brick Township.
