Paterson Police Officers detained a male suspect for the robbery of several women that occurred at a location in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at approximately 1 a.m. in the vicinity of 182 Getty Avenue where police say they responded to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery.
Units arrive that the scene and were informed that female dancers were approached by an unidentified armed male who demanded cash and other personal possession.
Fast responding officers set up a perimeter in the area where the located the suspect allegedly carrying an Airsoft gun.
There were no physical injuries reported to any of the dancers according to reports.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
