Police in Paterson are investigating a shooting that sent as many as three victims to the hospital Saturday night.
According to preliminary reports from officials, a barrage of bullets that rang out in the vicinity of North 10th and Temple streets, just before 11 p.m., that sent police to the scene where officers found several individuals, cars, and a building struck by bullets.
Police say, shooters arrived in the area and began to fire multiple shots in the direction of the victims before they sped away from the scene in a car.
All of the victims were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries according to preliminary reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
