There were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the August 4 Mega Millions drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn, winning the $10,000 prize.
Those tickets were purchased at Stop & Shop #817 on 380 West Pleasantview in Hackensack; and McKinley Convenience Store on 100 McKinley Ave. in Manahawkin.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, August 4, drawing were: 02, 22, 30, 42, and 62. The Gold Mega Ball was 20, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
In addition to the third-tier prizes won, nine players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $1,500.
Moreover, 14,560 other New Jersey players took home $65,484 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600.
