NAssan's Place of East Orange were in attendance at the New York Liberty Special Needs and Autism Awareness Day held at Madison Square Garden.

The annual Special Needs and Autism Awareness Day game had the Liberty, host the LA Sparks.

The day featured a Cozy Corner including sensory kits, bean bags, arts & crafts and more according to MSG officials.

According to the organization's website, Nassan's Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that is helping to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism in and around under-served communities by providing educational and recreational programs, social outings, and resources.

Autism is an urgent and growing public health crisis that affects most individuals across their lifespan and demands a commensurate level of action from both the public and private sectors.

New Jersey has the highest rate of Autism in the country, 1 in 44; the national rate is 1 in 45 the website said.
