Police in Newark are asking for the public's assistance in locating **Bennie Williams, 66**, of Newark.
According to authorities, Mr. Williams weighs approximately 195 lbs., is 5’9” tall, and has black hair.
He was last seen at about 12:15 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday) in the area of Schley Street and Hawthorne Avenue.
Police said Mr. Williams was wearing a black hooded jacket, black boots, and blue jeans.
He suffers from early signs of dementia and takes medication.
While authorities are actively searching for Mr. Williams, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning him to his family.
