Newark Man Sentenced to 99 Years in Prison for Christmas Day Murders of Three at Irvington Go-Go Bar

A man who fatally gunned down three people at an Irvington Go-Go Bar on Christmas Day 2013 was sentenced to 99 years in prison by a judge today.

The Essex County Judge sentenced Anthony Fields, 22, for the shooting that occurred at Slick's Go-Go Bar in Irvington early Christmas Day

Fields was found guilty by a jury in December of murder and aggravated manslaughter charges in the deaths of Woodley Daniel, Pierre Clervoyant Jr. and Mushir Cureton, as well as aggravated assault for the non-fatal shootings of two other men at the go-go Bar at Nye Avenue and 21st Street.

Fields declined to comment after the sentencing.
