According to police, several complaints by residents of a suspicious vehicle circling several communities had police step up presence in the area where they stopped a black Honda on the Black Oak Ridge Road at Route 23 near the Bottle King just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said during the stop; they noticed two packages in the back seat of a Zip car.

An investigation indicated that one of the packages contained designer sneakers and a sweatsuit worth several hundred dollars that occupants inside the vehicle took from outside a home in Wayne.
