President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Darrell K. Terry, Sr. of Newark Beth Israel and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey has announced that employees at the hospital are preparing to make a significant donation of items to an organization that's overseeing relief efforts in the Newark region.
Newark Beth Israel employees presented Masiel Valentin, Esq., Treasurer of the Hurricane Maria Puerto Rico Relief Fund, more than four large bins of items that they collected to the Hurricane Maria Puerto Rico Relief Fund of Newark NJ, which is also working with Esperanza Azteca, to provide relief to Mexico.
The event had officials meet for the exchange at around 11 a.m. in the hospital's Osborne Terrace entrance.
Beth Israel Hospital is located in Newark's South Ward and continue to engage the community with successful outreach endeavors.
