Monmouth Authorities Identify Carteret Man, Woodbridge Female Killed in Aberdeen Motorcycle Crash

A male motorcycle rider has been injured and a female passenger has died as the result of striking a motor vehicle Wednesday evening in Aberdeen, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

According to officials, Charles G. Romer, 21, of Carteret, and his passenger, Jessica Czajkowski 20, of Woodbridge, were riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Amboy Road, approaching the intersection of Prospect Avenue when they struck a 2004 Nissan Sentra, driven by Hugo Bautista Eufracio Alejandro, 49, of Keyport, at approximately 8:03 p.m.

Officials say both riders were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained life-threatening injuries.

Romer and Czajkowski were both taken to local hospitals. Czajkowski was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 8:42 p.m.

Alejandro sustained non-life threatening injuries, was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and Aberdeen Police Department and the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART).
