Man Wanted for Allegedly Breaking into Shabazz High School in Newark

Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of Niquer Graham, 20, of Newark, in connection with an incident that occurred on Mar. 10th.

Officials said that at approximately 4:30 p.m., police responded to Shabazz High School, located at 80 Johnson Avenue, on a burglary call.

Upon arrivals, officers determined the school had been broken with several items stolen.

Detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to identify Niquer Graham as a suspect in this burglary and secured a warrant for his arrest on a charge of Burglary.

Authorities describe Graham as a male, approximately 5’8” tall, weighs 155 lbs., brown eyes, and black hair.

Police say Graham is known to frequent the areas of Elizabeth and Meeker avenues as well as Johnson Avenue, West Bigelow Street and the 200-block of Clinton Avenue.

While police are actively searching for Graham, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.
