Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 1:56 p.m., on Thursday police responded to the area of Main and Mary Streets in the City of Paterson in response to a reported pedestrian struck by a New Jersey Transit bus.
Police say Mr. John Keenan, 46, of Paterson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the New Jersey Transit bus remained at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
