Serious Injuries for Woman Struck by Car in Linden

Linden – A 58-year-old Roselle woman was seriously injured during a motor vehicle collision earlier this morning.

Police say the crash occurred on East St. George Avenue near E. Baltimore Avenue just after 6:00 am.

The victim was taken to Newark University Hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman was reportedly crossing E. St. George Avenue when she was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Pickup that was traveling east on E. St. George Ave.

The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old Linden man, was not injured in the crash police said.

The crash remains under investigation by Linden Police Accident Investigation Unit, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Inv. Jimmy Solano at (908) 474-8505.
