Old Bridge Police are investigating an overnight car crash that sent one person to the hospital suffering life-threatening injuries.
The single-car crash happened just outside of The Raritan Bay Medical Center located near Ferry Road a little after 10 p.m.
Emergency responder rushed to the scene where they found a severely damaged car crashed into a pole with the driver trapped inside.
Rescue crews were able to extricate the victim from the vehicle then transport them to the hospital according to officials.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
