Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a Camden man has died as a result of an aggravated assault in the Whitman Park section of the city.
Camden County Police responded to the area of the 1200 block of Morton Avenue on September 12, 2017 in response to a 9-1-1 call of an unconscious male at approximately 1:33 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located the victim, Kyle Bell, 47, of Camden, inside of his apartment. Kyle Bell was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was receiving treatment until Thursday, September 14th when he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at approximately 8:10 p.m.
The investigation into the death is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
