Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said today that a 24-year-old Helmetta man has been arrested and charged with possessing and distributing Explicit Images of Minors.
Daniel Leal was arrested at his home on January 5, 2017 and was charged with possession of Explicit Images of Minors, distribution of Explicit Images of Minors and intent to distribute the illicit materials.
He was charged during an investigation by the Helmetta Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
During the investigation it was determined that Leal maintained and exchanged pornographic photos and videos on the internet.
He was being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick.
An investigation is active and is continuing.
