East Orange officials said Tuesday, February 25th, anti-bullying specialists Mr. Arumemi, Mr. Bell, Ms. King-Anderson, and Mr. Hoges of the Hart Complex hosted an appreciation luncheon for School Resource Officers across the district security guards at the complex.
Official say this was all a part of the complex-wide **"18 Days of Kindness Calendar"** anti-bullying initiative for the month of February, where anti-bullying specialists recruited members of each school's student council to serve food and welcome their guests of honor.
The purpose of this event and the kindness calendar was to show students how effortless it can be to show kindness daily.
Officials say everyone in attendance expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the unexpected gesture.
