Hackensack Man Charged with Endangering Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Explicit Contact

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of James Falletti, 43, of Hackensack, on endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated criminal sexual contact charges. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, on Monday, August 30, 2021, the Elmwood Park Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged explicit assault of a minor. 

A months-long investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Elmwood Park Police Department revealed that Falletti explicitly assaulted the minor, who was younger than 16 years old, in Elmwood Park.

As a result of the investigation, on Monday, March 14, Falletti was arrested in Paramus and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated criminal explicit contact. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, Falletti was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
