Police are currently investigating an accident that occurred in East Brunswick at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the NJ Turnpike.
According to police, there were multiple vehicles were involved in the crash and there is one reported fatality at this time.
Police report that the inner roadway, where the accident occurred, remains closed for the investigation and that all traffic has been diverted to the outer roadway.
