Police are investigating a reported robbery that took place at the Burger King in Elizabeth this evening.
Several units were seen canvassing the area while the doors of the restaurant were locked sometime after 9 p.m. in the area of Rt. 1&9 at South Broad Street.
A female employee inside the establishment told us that she was advised not to speak to about the matter as she stood behind the restaurant's locked door.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
