East Orange, Newark Children Treated to Marvel's Black Panther Film Courtesy of Vulcan, Flame Pioneers

Dozens of children from Newark and East Orange joined firefighters for a free viewing of Marvel's Black Panther on Saturday morning.

According to officials from The Vulcan Pioneers black firefighters organization of Newark and East Orange, they purchased and awarded over 80 tickets to students to attend the film at Newark Cityplex 12.

The Vulcan Pioneers of Newark gave 40 tickets to residents inside the Bradley Court Housing Complex while The East Orange Vulcan's F.L.A.M.E distributed 40 tickets to honor roll students from three schools in their city officials said.

President Dorian Herrell (Newark) and President Lamont Muse (East Orange) said the children enjoyed their experience.

The Vulcan Pioneers of New Jersey are part of an Organization known as the "Black Professional Firefighters," consisting of Chapters worldwide including Vulcan Society, Inc. New York, Phoenix Society, Inc. Philadelphia, PA, and the Vulcan Pioneers of New Jersey, Inc. Newark, New Jersey.

Both organizations are nonprofit Professional Black Firefighter Organizations that are supported by the IABPFF.
