East Brunswick Police Need Public's Help in Identifying Man Accused of Robbing Gas Station at Knife-Point

Police are asking the public's help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a gas station Sunday afternoon at knife-point.

According to employees, the suspect entered the Route 18 Sunoco shortly after 2 p.m., brandished a knife and demanded money, police said.

The suspect made off with packs of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of money. 

After exiting the office area, police said the suspect slashed the tires of two customers' vehicles. 

The suspect - described as a white or Hispanic, in his late 30's to early 40's, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches to 6-feet tall, medium build - was seen fleeing north on Route 18 in a flatbed tow truck.
