Domestic Dispute Has Irvington Man Shooting at Two Women; Suspect Remains At-Large

Police are seeking the public’s help locating Arnold Locke, 26, of Irvington, a suspect in a shooting that occurred last night.

Police said at approximately 9:28 p.m., Newark Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 200-block of Hunterdon Avenue.

Two female victims were shot at as part of a domestic violence incident following a verbal altercation with Locke police said.

The two victims fled on foot and did not suffer injuries.

The Honorable Arthur J. Batista, J.M.C., has issued a $100,000.00 warrant for Arnold Locke’s arrest.

Locke faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Conspiracy.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.

Authorities said the investigation is continuing.
