Police have made an arrest in a violent stabbing that occurred in a section of Elizabeth a short time ago.
According to brief information obtained from Elizabeth Police, at approximately 12:10 p.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing that took place in the vicinity of 141 Court Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the severely injured man suffering stab wounds at that location.
Police officials said EMS transported the unidentified man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died a short time later.
It is not clear if police recovered the weapon used by the suspect.
