Desperate Plea From Family of Woman Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Mount Laurel

Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in locating the driver that struck and killed a woman in Mount Laurel in early November.

According to authorities, on Monday November 7th 2016 at approximately 7:43 PM, 58 -year-old Kelly Chalkley was struck and killed by a hit and run driver in the Mount Laurel parking lot located off Warwick Turnpike.

The family is looking for answers and closure to this tragic accident.

As we approach another holiday without our beloved wife, mother, and Nanna, we are left with questions to which we have no answers. We cannot begin to heal as a family until we have the answers we so desperately need.

"To the driver involved in this accident, we are pleading for you to come forward and rid yourself of the tremendous guilt we imagine you are bearing. We assure you the weight on your shoulders will be lifted once you free yourself from the burden you have been carrying",'a family member said.

"You are also jeopardizing anyone else who may know about this accident and any cover up that may be occurring".

The family wishishes to thank the community for their support during these extremely difficult times.
