Critical Injuries Reported for Victim Found Stabbed Inside White Castle Restaurant in Clifton

Passaic County authorities are investigating a stabbing inside that left a male in critical condition at a restaurant in Clifton on Saturday morning.

The early morning stabbing happened at the White Castles located in the 1300 block of Main Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. where officers rushed to the scene after receiving reports of an assault in progress.

Upon arrival at the scene, police found the severely injured, unconscious and unresponsive victim bleeding after suffering stab wounds at that location.

White Castle Management said the victim came to the store for help after being injured somewhere else. "We immediately called for help," Manamagent said.

EMS rushed the victim to St. Josephs Hospital with CPR in progress until doctors took off and began other life-saving treatments.

The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and there are no reports of arrests at this time.

Police say there were no other injuries.
