Authorities in Newark are investigating a crash that severely injured two women on a street in Newark's South Ward Wednesday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, the three-car crash happened in the vicinity of Meeker Avenue and Noble Street around 3:55 a.m.
Police say the driver of one of the cars somehow lost control and slammed into two parked vehicles at that location.
Two females were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
