The Newark Light Rail Mainline is suspended in both directions between Bloomfield Avenue and Norfolk Street due to a water main break repair at Orange Street according to NJ Transit officials.
According to NJ transit, substitute bus service has been activated and is in place.
Repair crews worked through the night to repair the broken main and it is not clear when repairs will be completed.
Commuters should plan extra time for their commute.
