BREAKING LONG BRANCH NJ: Teenage Boy Shoots, Kill Four Family Members in Long Branch

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Officer are investigating a shooting incident that left four people dead in Long Branch overnight.

Details regarding the incident are pending, but according to preliminary reports, at approximately 11:52 p.m., gunfire rang out at an address on Wall Street street sending a massive police presence to the scene where they found multiple unconscious and unresponsive victims inside a house.

According to reports, the suspected 16-year-old male suspect barricaded himself inside a residence for a short time before police placed him in custody.

Four victims -from the same family- were pronounced dead in what authorities are calling an isolated incident with no threat to the public.

The victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds to various parts of their bodies.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
