Bergen County Authorities Investigate Shooting that Injured Male near Holiday Inn in Fort Lee

Authorities in Bergen County are looking into the motive behind a shooting in Fort Lee this afternoon.

According to a statement released by authorities, the shooting happens at approximately 3:15 p.m., where the Fort Lee Police Department responded to a shooting outside the Holiday Inn located at 2339 Route 4 East in Fort Lee, NJ.

Police said officers arrived and found a male victim suffering bullet wounds.

According to police, the victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit was requested to respond.

An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Fort Lee Police Department under the direction of Chief Matthew Hintze.
