Belleville Teen Charged with Crash That Killed Bloomfield Woman Returning from American Idol' Auditions

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced the a Belleville teen has been charged with the fatal August 2nd crash that killed a Bloomfield singer as they returned home from "American Idol" auditions in Pennsylvania.

The Belleville teen driver, who officials did not identify since she will be tried as a juvenile, has been charged with homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, reckless endangerment, and traffic violations.

On August 2, 2015, police responded to Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania just before 7 p.m. for a report of an overturned vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found the 2003 Jeep Liberty – allegedly seen traveling at high speeds – had veered onto the road across two lanes where it reached a grass median causing it to roll over and for three of the six occupants to be ejected from the vehicle.

The vehicle which was occupied by a total of six people, 20-year-old Natasha Bellott, Carl Delpolito, 24, of Bloomfield, Jacob Gorski, 18, of East Orange, a 17-year-old female, a 16-year-old female passenger from Bloomfield, and a 19-year-old Montclair woman.

One of the injured occupants was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, while the other four were brought to Capital Health Center in Trenton with non-life threatening injuries.

The sixth occupant, Natasha Bellott of Bloomfield, was killed in the crash.

Bellot was returning home with a winning “American Idol" auditions ticket that she attended in Pennsylvania.
