IRVINGTON/NEWARK: Police in both cites are investigating overnight robberies.
Shortly after midnight in the 400 block of Chancellor Ave. in Irvington, two black males reportedly snatched a female victim's cell phone and food that was purchased from Wendys Restaurant. The victim suffered no injuries.
Armed suspects struck around 6:20 this morning in Newark. The suspects reportedly pointing weapons at a person standing near a bus stop on West Market Street and Central Ave., taking personal possessions.
No injuries reported. Police are investigating
