EMS units were requested to the scene of a dog attack that occurred in a Bergen County neighborhood on Sunday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 819 Handwerg Drive in River Vale to investigate reports of an animal incident just before 7:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an Amazon delivery driver suffering a non-life-threatening injury after being bitten by a dog who went on the attack.
Police say EMS treated the victim and the incident remains under investigation.
