ALERT: Newark Woman Missing Since April Sought by Police

Police officials in Newark are seeking the public's help locating a woman who has gone missing and hasn't been seen since April.

According to police, on Friday, August 28, at approximately 12:30 p.m, Ms. Chenoa Martinez, 33, was reported missing by a family member.

Police say Martinez went missing from the 200 block of Clinton Place.

Martinez was last seen on April 7, after being transported to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for breathing issues. She was released later in the week but never returned home, according to police.

Martinez has a light complexion, she is 5'11" tall, weighs around 450 pounds, and has brown eyes and hair.

Police say she is in good mental/physical condition and officials do not know what Martinez was wearing when she went missing.

According to police, Ms. Martinez has a tattoo on her left arm that says, "Amir."
