According to policed, Tuesday just before 6 p.m., the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department responded to the Tropicana Resort and Casino for a death investigation.
It was determined that the incident under investigation was a suicide of one man and an attempted suicide of a woman.
Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said the matter was an isolated incident and there were no safety concerns to the public at any time.
