75-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Middlesex County

A 75-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed as she attempted to cross Route 130 Friday night.

Svetlana Yausheva, 75, of Monroe Township was crossing Route 130 near Old Trenton Road at approximately 9:50 p.m., when she was struck by a 1998 Toyota Camry.

Yausheva was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, later identified as 69-year-old Madan Dubey, of South River, was transported to Princeton Medical Center, in Plainsboro with minor injuries.
