Two Passaic County Men Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 4:56, p.m. on Tuesday, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East Main Street Paterson on a report of shots fired.

According to officials upon arrival, police located 34-year-old male Haledon resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and a 68-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police say the victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
