25-Year-Old Lyndhurst Man Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 7:55, p.m. on Saturday members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Ellison and Prospect Street Paterson on a report of a shooting.

According to a statement released by authorities, units arrived at the scene found a 25-year-old male Lyndhurst resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing according to police.
