Authorities announced the arrest of 20-year-old Anderson Moronta, wanted by the Newark Police Shooting Response Team for a shooting that occurred on Feb.11th.
Police said detectives developed evidence identifying Moronta as the suspect in this shooting; a warrant for his arrest was issued on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Contempt.
Major Crimes detectives arrested Moronta today without incident.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
