Nearly a dozen cars were damaged when a woman who suffered a medical condition slammed into the vehicles inside a parking lot of a supermarket in Newark.
It happened at around noon at the ShopRite on Springfield Avenue when a woman passed out at the steering wheel, with her foot on the gas, then crashed into multiple vehicles.
EMS arrived at the scene and rushed the woman to University Hospital where she suffered serious injuries but family members told RLS Media that the woman is in stable condition and expected to be ok.
An adult male passenger, who traveled with the woman, suffered minor injuries.
Thankfully there were no injuries in any of the cars the woman crashed into.
The incident remains under investigation.
