Authorities in Orange are investigating the death of a man who was found in a neighborhood in the city.
Police and EMS were called to Forest Street for reports of an injured person at around 6:45 a.m. according to reports.
Arriving units located the unconscious and unresponsive Hispanic male at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene according to a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
The cause of death will be determined by the State Regional Medical Examiners Office.
Authorities would not release the identity of the victim until contact is made with next of kin.
