Firefighters in Paterson extinguished a fire that ignited inside a vehicle in Paterson during the overnight hours.
According to officials, firefighters were called to the vicinity of 18th Avenue and McClean Boulevard to investigate reported of a fire inside a car at around 4 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved fire car fire at that location.
After firefighters put out the fire, they checked the car for trapped and injured occupants, which came back negative.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
