East Orange firefighters made fast work out of a raging fire that ignited a car on an interstate Thursday evening.
It happened in the westbound lanes of I-280 in East Orange around 6:45 p.m.
Offcials say all of the occupants were able to safely get out of the car before the blaze intensified. There were some minor delays on the highway for the firefighter activity.
The use of the fire is under investigation.
