Fire officials in Newark are looking into the cause of a fire that destroyed a car in Newark early Wednesday morning.
According to Newark Public Safety officials, firefighters were called to 175 First Street -Garden Spires- to investigate reports of a vehicle fire at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find a fully involved car fire that began to extend to a structure at that location.
Firefighters were able to knock the flames down in a short amount of time then check the vehicle for trapped or injured occupants.
There were no injuries reported.
